  • Star Outdoors Adventure Centre located only a 5-minute drive from Kenmare has a wide range of programmes & facilities that will complement and enhance the training of young scouts, cubs, beavers and guides.
  • Through our variety of outdoor adventure experiences, we can help in their aim to develop themselves through their SPICE program – Social, Physical, Intellectual, Character, Emotional.
  • Cubs and Scouts will get to develop different skills such as teamwork, leadership, problem solving, social and life skills, character and personal development and most importantly respect, all whilst enjoying new adventure experiences taking place in a safe environment.
  • Our range of activities include Kayaking, Paddle Games, Raft Building, Banana boat, Water Park, Obstacle Course, Splat ball, Archery, Hillwalking, Team Games, Murder Mystery and Mini Golf. There is also a playground onsite.
  • We can build special packages meeting your group’s requirements and activity choices.
  • We have a restaurant onsite that can provide breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • We have fully qualified instructors that are Garda vetted & Child Protection Certified that can stay to provide fun games at night.
  • At Star Outdoors we understand that camping is an integral part of the scouting programme. We have a private onsite campsite behind the centre that is adjacent to toilet and hot shower facilities.
  • Self-Catering option is also available in Kenmare town.
